Julie Brown has been our Director of Operations since 2012. With over 11 years in the banking industry, in positions which include Branch Manager, Central Processing Manager, and Accountant I, her experience makes her a wonderful asset to our team.
 

Julie is responsible for the day to day operations of the office, which includes giving top notch customer service through her attention to detail and ability to multitask. She is behind the scenes making your transition to Brightworks as smooth as possible, as well as giving continued service to all our clients when needed.
 

Brown earned an AA with honors in Business Administration from Howard Community College in 2005.
 

With a heart to serve, Julie volunteers as a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 197, and a 5th Grade Leader for Girls Grace Adventure. She is also a Kindergarten Sunday School Teacher and a 5th Grade POD Parent at Laurel Woods Elementary School.

Julie and her daughter Jadyn reside in Laurel, MD.  When not working, or taking her daughter to numerous activities, she can be found doing some kind of outdoor activity. She recently did her first backpacking trip across the MD portion of the Appalachian Trail and is looking forward to her next adventure.
